For many decades, the treatment options for highly carious and/or hypoplastic permanent posterior teeth have been either large amalgam buildups, multi-surface composites or stainless-steel crowns. Most pediatric dentists or general dentists that treat children and teens know that large amalgam or composite restorations will leak or fracture at a high rate. Thus, the highly unaesthetic stainless-steel crown was the chosen restorative option.
Today, there are a wide range of treatment options including non-invasive, low-cost treatments such as SDF as well as self-cure, highly esthetic composite-based restorative materials that are incredibly easy to use. This CE webinar will focus on giving patients a wide range of treatment options from immediate, low cost to highly esthetic, long-lasting stainless-steel crown alternatives.
During this CE webinar, we will • Discover the newest generation of self-cure composite that is incredibly simple to place • Learn how a sectional matrix that is anatomically accurate can produce natural contours of teeth with ideal contacts • Understand the advantages of a composite material that does not require a photo-initiator • Learn how a water-based SDF can lead to better patient cooperation
